Lord or just Savior?

I loved our Pastor's message today at church.  He was speaking about Jesus and his position as High Priest as mentioned repetitively in the book of Hebrews.  Wow, Amazing that Jesus speaks to God on our behalf!!  He intercedes for us even beyond the cross!!  One thing our pastor mentioned was that many times, people accept Jesus as their Savior without making him their Lord.  Can they be separated?  Is Jesus someone we spend time with on Sundays or does he reign over all of our life?  Great topic to think about.  If he isn't your Lord, can he be your Savior?  Our pastor says no.
