Joy in the Winter?

Winter... never have you whipped me like this year. Since we moved, the winter has been upon us. It's hard moving in the winter with having to be locked up in the house to avoid sub freezing temps and snow/ice. If it has been above freezing, it seems to rain. I can see how people get depressed this time of year. My main outlet is my time in the Word. It helps me keep perspective. The boys have gotten creative with how they spend their days in the house. I am watching Jordan as I write build a robot out of swords, blocks, matchbox cars and tape. Kids learn by playing right? Thank God for Timber the cat... he is often our entertainment on snowy days like this. Go away snow. I'm ready for spring and sunshine.
